Sunshine Yellow By The Dozen

Staedtler 126 12-1 gives you twelve yellow Noris maxi learner pencils in one pack.

Yellow is the colour of the first sun most children ever draw, and it keeps turning up after that: stars, bananas, chicks, sunflowers, school buses and the glow around a candle. It also works as a light base layer. Colour an area yellow first and then go over it with green or orange, and the result looks warmer than either colour on its own, a simple layering trick for young artists.

These are the Staedtler maxi learner pencils, with a hexagonal barrel printed Noris maxi, 126 12 and Made in Germany as shown in the product photos. The count of twelve is the quantity Staedtler Australia supply to trade, so there is no split pack involved.

FAQs

Twelve yellow Noris maxi learner pencils. There are no other colours in this pack.
It is a pale colour, so it reads best for filled shapes and backgrounds rather than fine outlines. Outline in a darker colour first if the shape needs a clear edge.
Staedtler publish no barrel size or age range for the 126 in the information we hold, so we have not added one.
The same maxi learner line comes in single-colour packs such as orange 126 12-4, light green 126 12-50 and brown 126 12-73, plus an assorted pack 126 12NC10.
