The Largest Ascella Frypan, Made from Recycled Aluminium

The Resto Ascella 28cm frypan pairs a recycled die-cast aluminium body with a Pfluon Cookmark non-stick interior and an induction base that also works on gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs.

Ascella is one of Resto's die-cast collections, with a body made from recycled aluminium. The 28cm pan is the largest of three Ascella frypans, alongside the 24cm and 26cm, and Resto lists it at 6.0cm high. Pfluon Cookmark is the non-stick coating inside, while the outside carries a heat-resistant coating with a fluted 3D finish in dark brown-black.

The base is reinforced with an anti-deformation disk to help it stay flat, which matters on induction and glass cooktops where a warped pan loses contact. The soft-touch handle ends in a hanging loop for storing the pan on a hook, and Resto states the range is free of lead, PFOA and cadmium.

Yes. Resto lists induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs for this frypan, and the base is reinforced with an anti-deformation disk to help it stay flat.
No. Resto's retail sleeve for this pan carries a no-oven symbol and the product page shows no oven-safe mark, so keep it to the hob.
Resto marks it dishwasher safe, but its care guidance limits this to low temperatures (max. 50°C) and warns the aluminium base may discolour in a dishwasher. We recommend hand washing to keep the base and the exterior coating looking their best.
Resto's specifications for this range do not name suitable utensils. To look after any non-stick coating, we suggest wooden, silicone or nylon utensils rather than metal.
