Orange Wheeled Case With Cubed Foam

The Panaro MAX505STR in orange is a high-visibility trolley case with pick and pluck foam, so a response kit can be wheeled in and spotted across a busy site.

The orange shell is simple to pick out in a crowded staging area, on a wharf or in the back of a response vehicle. It pulls on wheels with a telescopic handle, reaching 970 mm with the handle up, and measures 555 x 445 x 258 mm closed according to Panaro's drawing. Its 500 x 350 x 194 mm interior takes Panaro's cubed foam, two 55 mm layers resting on a 20 mm pad, with 50 mm of convoluted foam in the lid.

Panaro give 5.50 kg for this configuration. The STR page links Panaro's MIL-STD-810H report, and the STR datasheet marks IP67, STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41; ATA 300 appears only on the non-wheeled models. Nylon latches, a pressure release valve and padlock holes are standard. Made in Italy.

Panaro describe the TR as a case equipped with wheels and an extendable handle. They do not describe it as removable, so treat it as fitted.
