Medium Strength Storage for Everyday Office Archiving

Marbig rate the Strong Archive Box to a maximum load of 30kg and a stack of 7 high, which covers routine office archiving where files are put away and pulled back out rather than left on a pallet for years.

The body measures 420mm wide by 320mm deep by 260mm high, which is enough for foolscap folders standing upright, or for three lever arch files, or six ring binders. Marbig mark the grade MEDIUM STRENGTH on the side panel and build the box with double end walls over a double layer base. The lid lifts off, and the front carries a ruled panel for a date and a contents list.

Day to day archiving is not warehouse duty. Files go into a box, the box goes on a shelf or a rack, and somebody pulls it out a year later. A 30kg rating and a seven high stack cover that pattern, and the hand holes on the end walls give somewhere to grip a loaded box on a high shelf.

Marbig grade this one Medium Strength and build it with double end walls. The Super Strong box is graded Maximum Strength with triple end walls, and it carries a higher load figure and a higher stacking figure. Both boxes share the same outside dimensions.
No. The rating is for the contents of the box. If you are boxing dense paper rather than folders and binders, the Super Strong box in the same size is rated higher and is the safer choice.
