A Standard Strength Archive Box For Everyday Records

Marbig 80020F is the Enviro Standard Archive Box, a brown kraft box with a lift off lid, graded Standard Strength and sold here by the carton of 20.

Most office archiving is steady rather than heavy: a year of invoices, a finished project, the personnel files from a closed branch. The Standard grade is sized for that work. Printed on the side is a 25kg load limit and a stack of no more than 5 boxes. Outside, ACCO measure it at 420 x 315 x 260mm (length, width, height).

The interior suits upright foolscap folders, or as many as 3 lever arch files, or 6 ring binders, and the weight sits on double end walls over a double layer base. Hand holes in the end walls give a grip when a full box comes down off a shelf, and the front panel is ruled for a date and a contents list.

The flat blank has a perforated tear line printed on it that is removed before assembly, so check that step when making up the first box in a carton.
