Buckles To Close Off 19mm Hand Strapping

Marbig 51155 is a carton of 1000 white plastic buckles made for joining 19mm wide polypropylene strapping.

When strapping is applied by hand, the join is the weak point. A buckle lets the strap be threaded, pulled tight and locked without heat sealing or metal crimps, which keeps manual strapping simple for storerooms and trade counters. The carton label reads plastic buckles for PP strapping and suitable for use with 19mm straps, and ACCO describe the same fit.

The width matters. These are sized for 19mm strap only, so narrower 12mm or 15mm strap needs the smaller Marbig buckle, code 51156. One carton holds 1000 buckles, packed loose in bags, and the box is marked made in China. ACCO do not publish a holding strength for the buckle itself.
