Yellow Polypropylene Strap For Tying Off Cartons By Hand

Marbig Professional 51157 is a 700m roll of yellow polypropylene hand strapping, 19mm wide and 0.5mm thick, with a break load of 180kg printed on the roll label.

Tape seals a carton lid, but it does little to stop a heavy box bursting or a stack of flat packs sliding apart. A band of strap around the outside takes that strain instead. ACCO describe this roll for securing parcels and other industrial packaging jobs, and it is made for manual strapping rather than a strapping machine.

The three figures that matter when matching strap to a job all appear on the label: 19mm wide, 0.5mm thick and a 180kg break load. The roll carries 700m, and the yellow sets it apart from the blue Marbig Professional strapping codes when two grades are kept on the same bench.The strap is joined with buckles or seals bought separately, and none come with the roll.
