Loose Buckles For Joining Narrow PP Strap By Hand

Marbig Professional 51156 is a carton of 1000 white plastic buckles for joining 12mm and 15mm polypropylene strapping.

Hand strapping has no machine to heat seal the join, so each band needs something to hold its two ends. A buckle does that job: the strap is threaded through, pulled tight and folded back so the tension locks it in place. ACCO describe these for polypropylene strapping in both 12mm and 15mm widths, and the carton label repeats that they suit 12 and 15mm straps.

The single buckle in ACCO photography is a one piece white moulding with two bars beside a square loop. Buying them loose in a carton suits packing rooms and dispatch areas that close off a steady run of strapped cartons. Wider 19mm strap needs the separate Marbig 51155 buckle, and ACCO publish no strength rating for these, so match the strap to the load first.
