A Plastic Archive Box For Storerooms Where Cardboard Struggles

Marbig 8015002 is a black corflute plastic storage box with an attached lid and hand holes, rated by ACCO to a 30kg maximum load and to stack 7 high.

Cardboard archive boxes soften in a damp garage, a shed or a basement storeroom. This box is made from fluted plastic sheet, and the pack states it protects against moisture damage. The pack gives the size as 400mm wide, 310mm deep and 260mm high, and the ACCO photo shows lever arch files standing upright inside.

The lid is joined to the box, so it cannot go missing between shelving and retrieval, and it folds back out of the way while files go in. Built in handles at each end let two hands take the weight. In black, a set of these stands out from the brown cardboard boxes around it.
