Change the needle, keep the low dead space

The Exactec pairs a low dead space plunger tip with a luer lock fitting, so you get the waste reduction of a fixed-needle syringe while still being able to swap needles.

Normally that is a trade-off. Fixed-needle syringes waste almost nothing but lock you into one gauge; luer lock syringes let you draw with a wide bore and inject with a fine one, but strand liquid in the hub every time. Imatec designs the plunger tip to fill the hub cavity, which recovers most of that loss without giving up the threaded connection.

The barrel is transparent with 0.02mL graduations, fine enough for precise small-volume work, and the luer lock thread positively secures the needle so it cannot work loose under pressure.

A fixed-needle syringe has the lowest dead space of all but you cannot change the needle. This gives you most of that waste saving and still lets you draw with a wide bore then inject with a fine one.
No. It is a luer lock syringe, so you choose the needle to suit the job. Our 18G Terumo Agani suits drawing; the 27G BD PrecisionGlide suits administering.
The barrel is marked every 0.02mL, so on a 1mL barrel that is 50 divisions. It reads finer than a standard 1mL syringe.
For anything under pressure, yes. The thread mechanically secures the needle rather than relying on friction, so it cannot pop off mid-injection.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
