Box of Derwent Inktense pencils in Red Oxide

Box of six: Derwent Inktense Red Oxide, colour 1910. It is one of 100 colours in the range.

The range is built around an ink-like formulation, and dried colour gives ink-like effects. Derwent lists Red Oxide as number 1910 in its 100-colour Inktense pencil range. Derwent's features table gives a soft texture, a wax base and a 4mm core. It is water-soluble: work it dry, or add water and the colour turns even more intense.

Codes for ordering: AA2301892 (ours) and 2301892 (Derwent). You receive six Red Oxide pencils per box. Derwent describes Inktense for fine art and craft projects on paper and fabric. Derwent notes that ceramic and wood are among the porous surfaces it can be applied to.

Pencils for general office and drawing use are listed in Pencils, and Derwent's artist ranges in Derwent Artist Pencils. Other colours from the same Derwent range are listed together in our Inktense Pencils collection.
