Inktense Pencils

This is the property that separates them from ordinary watercolour pencils. Dry, they behave like a firm coloured pencil. Wet, the colour releases with an ink-like intensity, and once it dries it is fixed, so you can wash a second layer over the top without disturbing the first. That also means mistakes are permanent.
