Red Violet Inktense pencils, box of six

A box of 6 Derwent Inktense pencils in Red Violet, colour 0610. Dried colour is not dissolved by later layers.

It is listed as suitable for use on fabric as well as paper, for fine art and craft projects. In the Inktense colour list, Derwent prints Red Violet against colour number 0610. Used dry it behaves as a pencil; mixed with water, the colour becomes even more intense, according to Derwent. Its core is soft, wax-based and 4mm in size.

Our product code is AA2301864; Derwent's code for the same pencil is 2301864. The box holds six pencils, every one in Red Violet. The colours are water-soluble and, per Derwent, dry permanently. Derwent notes that ceramic and wood are among the porous surfaces it can be applied to.

The Inktense Pencils page shows the Inktense pencils we stock, including this colour and its neighbours. Watercolour & Inktense Pencils adds the other water-soluble Derwent pencils, Derwent Artist Pencils the remaining Derwent ranges, and Pencils general pencils.
