No, and the difference matters for how long they last. These are cardboard cards with a thin plastic film over them, which helps them shuffle and lets a spill be wiped off. A fully plastic card is a different and much more expensive product that can be washed and will outlast these many times over. For high turnover club play, budget for replacing coated decks.

Cumberland publish the card size as 60 x 90mm and do not give it a standard name, so we do not claim one either. Measure against what your players are used to if the hand feel matters.

Cumberland mark them as suitable from age three and up, and describe them as usable for learning exercises as well as card games. As with any small item, supervise young children.
