Snap works for early learners because it demands one skill and demands it fast: does this picture match that picture. Do it forty times in ten minutes and a child has practised visual discrimination harder than any worksheet manages.
Three games from one deck. Snap for speed and recognition. Go Fish for turn-taking and asking questions out loud. Memory for working memory and concentration. The same cards, three quite different skills, and the instructions for all three are in the box.
Twenty native animals - kangaroos, kookaburras, emus and echidnas among them - so the vocabulary that comes with the game is Australian rather than imported.
The activity guide is the part people forget to use. It turns the deck into a teaching resource rather than a wet-day filler.
What we would like clarified
The card count reads oddly. The supplier lists "80 snap cards" and "20 Australian animal cards" separately, which could mean 100 cards in the box, or 80 cards covering 20 animals. We have asked. No age rating is published either. Ask us if either matters before you order.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered.
