Cadmium Orange, a Strong Warm Orange
Cadmium Orange is a strong, warm orange from the Series 3 colours of Jo Sonja's Matte Flow Acrylic, here as a 75ml Cadmium Orange tube.
The swatch in our photos is a strong, warm orange with a smooth, even look. On the tube, an orange label band prints Cadmium Orange with a half-filled circle and Series 3, followed by Orange de Cadmium, Kadmium Orange and Naranja de Cadmio. The tube carries the classic Artists' Colours design. Hands decorate a ceramic vessel with bright flowers in the lifestyle image.
A strong orange gives poppies, nasturtiums, citrus and sunsets real punch, and it stays bright next to blues and teals. On decorated ceramics and boxes it adds a confident, warm accent. The tube is a handy size for a decorative painting kit or a travel bag, with room for other colours beside it.
For poppies, nasturtiums and bright decorated ceramics, shape petals with filberts from our craft paint brushes collection, wear something from art smocks and aprons, and compare Orange and Yellow Orange in acrylic paints.
