Burnished Copper, a Shimmering Metallic Copper
Burnished Copper adds a shimmering metallic copper to Jo Sonja's Matte Flow Acrylic, in a 75ml tube for trims, accents and statement details.
Our swatch photo shows a shimmering copper with a clear metallic sheen and textured brush strokes. The bronze label band prints Burnished Copper, a half-filled circle and Series 2. Its translations add the words pigment micacé and Glimmerpigment, meaning a mica pigment, in French and German. Lower down, the tube shows the Artists' Colours wordmark and Matte Flow Acrylic.
Metallic copper lifts trims, borders and lettering and catches the light on frames, boxes and decorations. It works well beside teal, black and cream, and a little goes a long way as an accent. Students in craft groups enjoy adding a copper border as the final touch to a finished project.
For copper trims on frames and boxes, edge and trim with small flats from our craft paint brushes, look at the painting mediums range for a finishing coat, and find gold and silver companions in acrylic paints.
