Burnt Umber for Tree Trunks, Shadows and Wooden Textures
This 2 litre bottle of Chromacryl Burnt Umber keeps a school supplied with rich brown for term after term of painting.
The swatch photographed next to the jug is a dark chocolate brown, cooler and deeper than burnt sienna. Students use a brown like this for bark, fence posts, animal fur, soil and the shadowed side of buildings. Printed on the label are the Chromacryl script logo and a small Est. 1965 mark, while a line underneath describes the contents as medium bodied students acrylic. The bottle body itself is a deep brown with a white cap on top.
Brown runs out faster than most teachers expect, so a bulk jug saves repeated small orders. Its built-in handle makes the full bottle easier to lift from a low shelf, and staff can decant only what each lesson needs before closing the cap again.
Brown work goes better with paint brushes in mixed sizes for bark detail and broad ground areas. Lay out smocks and aprons for students too, and find general painting supplies for the rest of the art room.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
