Rexel Optimum AutoFeed+ 100X Cross Cut Paper Shredder Black

Rexel's manual says to lift the loading door, load up to the MAX level and close it, and shredding starts automatically once the door is shut. ACCO Australia and the manual both rate the 100X at 100 sheets of 80gsm. The manual slot takes up to 8 sheets, provided the auto feed chamber is empty.

The 100X is the cross cut model: ACCO Australia rate it at P-4 on the DIN 66399 scale with 4x28mm particles. For P-5 with the same published dimensions, look at the 100M. We have not seen a DIN 66399 certificate for the 100X, so we stop short of any certification claim.

Rexel's manual allows only Rexel Oil Sheets 2101948 and 2101949. Feed one through the manual slot after every third time the bin is emptied; the manual warns that a sheet placed in the auto feed chamber will contaminate the feed rollers, so never load one there.

ACCO Australia publish a 20 minute run time for the 100X. If continuous use does overheat it, Rexel's manual says a red cool down light flashes and you need do nothing: it picks up the job again once cool, as long as paper is still loaded and the bin is empty.

Pick on particle size. ACCO Australia publish a 100 sheet auto feed, a 34 litre bin and a 20 minute run time for both, but the 100M cuts to P-5 at 2x15mm with a 6 sheet slot where this 100X cuts to P-4 at 4x28mm with 8 sheets.

ACCO do not publish a waste bag for the 100X. The only plastic bag in Rexel's manual is for its 600 and 750 sheet models, so we have not paired a bag with this shredder.
