Rexel Optimum AutoFeed+ 100M Micro Cut Auto Feed Shredder

The Rexel Optimum AutoFeed+ 100M combines a P-5 micro cut, which ACCO Australia rate on the DIN 66399 scale, with an auto feed for up to 100 sheets of 80gsm and a 6 sheet manual slot.

ACCO Australia publish 2x15mm particles, a 34 litre bin, a 20 minute run time, 55dBA running noise and a weight of 14.3kg, and Rexel Europe give 365 x 530 x 430mm (W x H x D). Load the stack, close the lid and shredding starts automatically, as ACCO Australia describe it.

Particles of 2x15mm are much smaller than the 4x28mm cross cut ACCO Australia publish for the 100X, which is the reason to choose the M for personnel, medical or legal records. Credit cards, staples and paper clips are on ACCO Australia's also shreds list, while Rexel's manual excludes CDs and DVDs.

Keep it lubricated the way Rexel's manual sets out, with Rexel oil sheets through the manual slot, and both packs are in shredder oils. Other fine cut models are in micro cut paper shredders and the wider paper shredders range.

ACCO Australia publish P-5, a level on the DIN 66399 scale, with 2x15mm micro cut particles. We quote that rating. We make no certification claim, as we have not seen a DIN 66399 certificate for the 100M.
ACCO Australia list the same 100 sheet auto feed, 34 litre bin and 20 minute run time for both. This 100M cuts to P-5 with 2x15mm particles and has a 6 sheet manual slot, and the 100X cuts to P-4 with 4x28mm particles and has an 8 sheet slot. ACCO Australia give 14.3kg for the 100M and 14.2kg for the 100X.
Rexel's manual says to lift the loading door, stack paper no higher than the MAX mark and close the door, which starts the shredding. The 6 sheet manual slot is for when you only have a few sheets, and the manual says to use it only when the auto feed chamber is empty.
Rexel's manual warns against heavy duty staples above 26mm, more than 25 sheets stapled together, paper clips above 32mm, and paper or card above 200gsm. It also rules out bound documents, magazines, unopened mail, plastic sheets, CDs and DVDs.
