Browns and ochres in a semi-wet watercolour tin
Zart Creamy Colours Earth Tones, supplier code PTZ880, is a resealable tin of six intermixable semi-wet watercolours in earth colours, browns and ochres, from The Creative School Supply Company.
The Creative School Supply Company describes the Earth Set as artist-quality watercolours with the convenience of a portable palette set. It says the paints carry less filler and are loaded with rich pigment, for stronger, cleaner and more saturated colour. The six colours are listed as browns and ochres and are intermixable, so they can be blended with each other.
Zart says a small amount of water gives opaque, gouache-like effects, and diluting further brings out flowing watercolour properties. That means the same tin can give solid, earthy colour or softer washes. The supplier also calls the palette set easy to use and mess-free.
Zart presents it in a resealable tin for the studio, classroom, home and plein air painting. Pair it with watercolour paper and browse watercolour paints, painting supplies, art paper and canvas and the Zart range.
