An 8 litre water bath with the stirrer built in
8L tank. 0 to 80C, held to within 0.2C. Built-in stirrer. Stainless steel convertible rack. Raised polycarbonate lid. Microprocessor control with automatic shut off. 1000W. CE approved and PAT tested. $1,100.00.
The stirrer is the whole difference between this and the cheaper model. Without circulation, a water bath is warmer at the element than at the far corner. A stirrer moves the water so every sample sits at the same temperature - which matters the moment you are incubating cultures or running anything where the result depends on the number being true across the whole tank.
Plus or minus 0.2C across a school lab session is genuinely good for a bath at this price.
The rack converts three ways - 4 x 250mL beakers, 15 x 16mm test tubes, or 15 x 25mm test tubes. One rack, three setups, no extra purchase.
The raised polycarbonate lid keeps the heat in and the evaporation down, and you can see through it.
Automatic shut off on a heated appliance in a school lab is not a luxury.

What to check
The published internal dimensions are wrong. The supplier prints "29L x 23W x 15H mm", which would be a tank the size of a matchbox. Read as centimetres it gives roughly 10 litres, which is consistent with an 8L working volume. We have asked them to correct it rather than repeat a figure we know is not right.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
