Black Stick On Hook and Loop Rectangles for Signs and Desk Items

The Velcro Brand Stick On 25542 is a pack of black hook and loop rectangles, each 25mm x 50mm, which ACCO Brands Australia list as a 6 set pack.

Velcro Australia describe the Stick On Rectangles as pre cut and ready to use. Velcro Australia also list most smooth indoor surfaces as suitable, naming wood, metal, glass, cardboard and plastic. The pack front prints Holds up to 500g and General Purpose. On the back, the pack sets out the steps as clean, peel, stick and done, with a 15 minute wait shown before use.

Velcro Australia name signs, memo boards and artwork as typical uses and present the rectangles as an alternative to glue, tacks, nails and screws. Per the pack, the optimum application temperature is 18 to 24 Celsius, and Velcro Australia state the adhesive reaches maximum strength after 24 hours.

FAQs

The pack front prints Holds up to 500g as its only weight figure. Velcro do not say on the pack whether that figure applies to one rectangle or the whole pack, and Velcro Australia's range page gives a separate figure of 450g per 25 x 25mm square. Velcro advise testing the surface first, so please test before hanging anything valuable.
Velcro Australia list most smooth indoor surfaces, including wood, metal, glass, cardboard and plastic, and the pack adds that it may not adhere to all plastic surfaces. The pack advises against wallpaper, loose paint, porous or flaking surfaces and laundered fabrics.
No. The pack describes it as for everyday indoor use, says it is not suitable for wet areas, and warns that prolonged direct sunlight and the elements will damage the fastener.
Velcro Australia warn that relocating the fastener will weaken the adhesive and may damage the surface. Decide on the position before pressing it down.
The pack photograph published by Velcro Australia prints Product Code 25558 above a barcode that matches this listing, while ACCO Brands Australia list the same black 25mm x 50mm 6 set pack as 25542. We sell it under the ACCO code 25542.
ACCO Brands Australia list a white 25mm x 50mm Stick On pack as code 25559, which we sell as a separate listing. This listing is the black pack.
