Five hundred is the number that matters. A small tub of cubes limits what a class can do - you cannot build to 100, you cannot give every child a handful, and you cannot leave a pattern set up. A group pool of 500 means the maths decides the quantity, not the box.

They interlock top and bottom, which is what separates Unifix from stacking blocks: a tower is a number and it can be broken at any point, so 7 becomes 3 and 4 in a child's hands rather than on a page. Counting, number bonds, addition, subtraction, patterning, multiplication as repeated groups, fractions of a tower, and measurement in cube-lengths all come out of the same box.

Ten distinct colours is enough for one per group, or for a ten-colour pattern, or for sorting - and few enough that children can name them.

20mm cubes: big enough for a four-year-old's fingers and small enough that 500 of them still fit in one box.

They lock firmly and come apart easily, which sounds trivial and is the single most important property of a counting cube in an infants classroom.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
