Uni-ball Signo Noble Metal UM-120NM Gel Ink Rollerball Pen 0.8mm Blue Box of 12

Not really, and that is worth saying plainly. The metallic particles make the line lighter and busier on white paper than a standard blue, so it is a poor choice for forms and note-taking. It comes into its own on dark stock.

Navy is the hardest case for a blue metallic, because the colour and the background are close. It does separate, but by sheen rather than by hue. If you need strong contrast on navy, silver or gold will do more work.

Eight. uni-ball's own product page says the pen is available in 8 metallic colours but names none of them, and only five colour images appear there. The eight are named on uni-ball's page for the UM-120NM8P eight piece wallet: blue, green, violet, pink, red, gold, silver, bronze. That page is where we take the colour names from, rather than reading them off image filenames.

uni-ball does not publish whether UM-120NM is capped or retractable, so we are not going to state it either way. uni-ball's own product page lists the code, the tip size and the ink, and stops there. The product photography is the best guide until we can confirm it from the pack.

Not one that uni-ball publishes for UM-120NM. Several codes in the Signo family have a sheet and this one does not, so there is no classification or handling statement for us to pass on. We will not borrow a sheet from a neighbouring Signo code, because the ink is not the same ink.

uni-ball does not publish a refill code against UM-120NM, so we are not going to name one. Other pens in the Signo family do list a refill, but assuming the metallic ink shares it would be a guess.
