Read this first
Zart sells these as "Aboriginal Flag Colours" and suggests them for NAIDOC Week. We have not put that in the title, and here is why.
The Aboriginal Flag was designed in 1971 by Harold Thomas, a Luritja man, and the Commonwealth acquired the copyright in January 2022 so it can be used freely. A packet of red, yellow and black feathers is not the flag, and gluing three colours onto card is not automatically an act of recognition.
Zart's own guidance across their range is the right guidance: work in consultation with your local First Nations community when planning any activity that touches Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, and any task that replicates cultural expressions must be done in consultation with the appropriate Aboriginal people, who own that cultural property.
Whether these belong in your NAIDOC week is a question for your school community and the Traditional Owners of the land your school is on. It is not a question a supplier catalogue can answer, and it is not one we are going to answer for you. What we can do is sell you the feathers and tell you the truth about them.
What they are
Trimmed feathers in red, yellow and black. Leaf shaped. Lightweight and easy to glue. $11.70.
Leaf-shaped rather than round, so they layer flat and read as foliage in a collage.
Light enough for ordinary PVA, and easy for small hands to place.
They work as a plain three-colour palette too - red, yellow and black is a strong high-contrast set for pattern and design work of any kind.
What is not published, including something basic
Is it 20 feathers or 20 grams? The supplier's text says "this 20-pack" while every other feather product in the range is sold by weight. Those are very different things. We have asked, and we have not put a quantity in the title. Ask us before you order if the count matters.
No length, no source and no barcode on our price list. All asked for. We will not invent a barcode.

Shipping & Delivery
Delivery time depends on your location, the size of your order, and the shipping option selected at checkout. For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Delivery estimates apply to in-stock items only and may vary due to carrier conditions or delays.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
