Shiny 9S400-7B-9 is a black replacement pad for Shiny self-inking message date stamps, listed by Staedtler Australia for the Printer S-401, S-407 and S-410.

The Shiny message daters leave the factory with a two colour pad: blue for the heading and BY: line, red for the date. Swap in this pad and the whole impression prints black instead, which suits offices that file or scan stamped paperwork in monochrome, or that simply prefer one ink colour across every stamp on the desk.

Shiny make the stamps and the pads, and Staedtler distribute the range here, which is why the pad carries a Staedtler 9S code. Staedtler's 2024 catalogue lists this pad for three models only.
