The Pad For Date-Only Shiny Daters
Shiny 9S400-7-9 is the black replacement pad Staedtler Australia list for the date-only Shiny daters S-400, S-409 and S-PET-400, with a pad size of 39mm x 22mm.
These are the plain daters with no message, just the date in black. When the impression goes pale and patchy even after a fresh press, the pad is usually spent. Staedtler give its size as 39mm x 22mm and describe it as the pad for the new S-400, so it is a straightforward like-for-like swap for those housings.
The S-PET-400 is the lime green Printer PET-400 we sell as 9SPET-400, and it takes the same pad as the black S-400 we sell as 9S400. Shiny build the daters and pads, and Staedtler handle distribution in Australia, which is where the Staedtler article number comes from.
To stretch the pad between replacements, Staedtler list Shiny supreme ink 9S61 in black, 28ml, for refilling self-inking stamps. The two colour message daters such as the S-401 use different pads: 9S400-7B-9 or 9S400-7D2C.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered.
