Five Yellow Omnichrom Holders For The Whole Crew

This is the box of 5 listing for Staedtler 768N-1: five yellow Lumocolor non-permanent omnichrom leadholders, enough to put one in each toolbox or apron.

Five yellow holders come in one box, the unit Staedtler Australia use for the 768N in their trade catalogue. The 768 is a single-hand leadholder with a water-soluble lead of roughly 3 mm that you push out to mark and retract afterwards, so a holder can ride in a pocket without the point snapping.

In Staedtler's description the lead marks opaquely on almost all surfaces, dark and transparent ones included: paper, plastic, metal, glass, wood, leather and stone. Yellow is the high-visibility choice on steel, aluminium and darker timber. The marks are non-permanent; they wipe off many smooth surfaces, wash out of many textiles and do not bleed through paper.

For a shared supply, pair the box with a few 218-1 refill trays of 12 yellow leads. The 768 carries Made in Germany and lightfast pictograms on the Staedtler Australia site.

FAQs

Five yellow 768N-1 omnichrom leadholders in one box.
Yes. The yellow 768N-1 is also listed on Mega as a single marker if you only need one.
Yes. Staedtler describe the omnichrom lead as opaque even on dark surfaces, and yellow gives strong contrast on grey and black metal.
They are non-permanent. Staedtler say they wipe off many smooth surfaces and wash out of many textiles; try a hidden spot first on porous or coated finishes.
Staedtler publish an EAN for the single yellow holder but not for a box of 5, so the article number 768N-1 is the reference to quote when reordering.
