The Staedtler 556 E4-HB is a 2mm HB carbon compass lead supplied in a tube of 4, available in a box of 20 tubes, providing a high-quality lead refill for bow compasses and technical drawing compasses that accept standard 2mm leads.
2mm compass leads are a different format from the thin mechanical pencil leads (0.3-0.9mm) used in clutch and propelling pencils. They are the standard lead size for traditional bow compasses - the lead holder in a bow compass accepts a 2mm lead, which is then sharpened with a lead pointer or sandpaper pad to a fine point for accurate circle marking. HB is the standard hardness for compass leads - hard enough to maintain a point during circle drawing, soft enough to produce a clear, erasable line. The 556 E4-HB carbon compound produces clean, consistent lines. Box of 20 tubes (80 leads total) for stationery room and drawing studio supply.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
