Spare 2mm HB Leads For Staedtler Compasses
This is a box of 20 Staedtler Mars 556 E4-HB lead tubes, each holding four 2mm HB compass leads 20mm long.
Compass leads wear quickly and snap when a compass is dropped, so a stock of spares saves a lesson or a drawing. Staedtler state that these leads fit all compasses in the Staedtler range, which covers the Mars comfort, Mars basic, Noris and ARCO compasses we carry.
HB is the middle grade: dark enough to read clearly on a geometry exercise, firm enough to keep a fine line and easy to erase. Each small plastic lead box has a screw-on cap to keep the four leads together in a pencil case.
The box of 20 tubes is Staedtler Australia's unit for this article, which makes it a practical buy for a school store room, a class set or a drafting office.
Pair with compasses, the geometry and technical drawing range and other Staedtler products.
