The Staedtler Mars Comfort 552 02 is a professional quick-setting Quickbow compass with an extension bar, allowing circles up to approximately 360mm in diameter in a single instrument - designed for technical drawing, architecture and design work requiring both precision and efficiency.
The defining feature of the Quickbow system is the centre wheel mechanism that allows rapid radius adjustment without the friction joint's gradual screw motion. The centre wheel moves the legs quickly to an approximate position, then the fine-adjustment wheel locks the radius precisely - significantly faster than traditional friction-joint compasses when switching between circle sizes frequently. The steel needle point is precision-engineered for a clean, stable pivot, and the lead holder accepts standard 2mm leads. The extension bar attaches to extend the radius beyond what the standard leg length allows, enabling large-format arcs and circles on A2 and A1 drawings.
The Mars Comfort series features an ergonomic bow handle that is comfortable during extended drawing sessions. Made in Germany to the quality standards the Mars technical instrument series is known for.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
