Sands, Wine Reds, Teals And Forest Greens In A 24 Pen Box

Staedtler 371 C24-1 is a box of 24 pigment brush pens chosen from the softer, earthier and deeper end of the 371 range, from ivory, light sand and dune to wine red, maroon, petrol blue, navy and fir green.

This box is not a larger version of the basic set. By Staedtler colour lists, none of its 24 shades appear in the 371 C12-1, the 371 C36 or the other 24 pen box, 371 C24. That makes it the natural second box for anyone who already owns primary colours and now wants skin tones, dusky florals, coastal blues and autumn foliage.

Every pen carries Staedtler Multi Ink, a water-based translucent India ink with pigments that Staedtler describe as fast drying, permanent and waterproof, with extreme lightfastness. Because dried layers do not smudge, a pale sand can be glazed under a burnt sienna to build depth. The brush nib is stable and varies its width with pressure, and Staedtler photos show the pens lying in stacked card trays inside a hinged box.

No. They are separate Staedtler articles with different barcodes, and by Staedtler colour lists they share no colours at all.
No. There is no black, primary blue or primary yellow here. Those are in the 371 C12-1 Basic Colours box, which pairs with this one without repeats.
The 371 C60. By Staedtler lists it contains every colour in this box together with every colour in the 371 C36.
Multi Ink is translucent, so light over dark will not cover. Staedtler say dried ink can be overpainted without smudging, so work light to dark.
Once dry the ink is permanent and waterproof. Staedtler name the colour-neutral blender 893 as the product that dissolves Multi Ink, and it is sold separately.
