A 0.2 mm Black Liner That Works Along A Ruler

Staedtler 308 02-9 is the black pigment liner at 0.2 mm, supplied in a box of 10.

0.2 mm is where precision meets everyday use. It is the first width Staedtler recommend for drawing along rulers, so it suits ruled borders, architectural sketches, floor plans and graph work, and it is still fine enough for interior detail in illustration and neat small handwriting in a planner or field book.

Staedtler rate the black ink indelible and lightfast, waterproof once on paper, and their catalogue adds acid free. A highlighter can go over it without the line bleeding. The CAP OFF rating means a black liner left open keeps writing for at least 12 hours. The long metal tip reaches cleanly to a straight edge or a template and the PP barrel stands up to daily use.

The 308 is airplane-safe and, according to Staedtler, made in Germany. This box of 10 is the Artist Series pack, handy for studios, drafting rooms and classes that get through liners quickly.
