The Standard HB Lead For 0.5 mm Pencils

Staedtler Mars micro carbon 250 05-HB is one tube of twelve 0.5 mm HB leads, the everyday grade for writing.

HB is the middle of the grading scale. It is dark enough for notes, forms and homework, firm enough to resist smudging, and a good starting point if you are unsure which grade to buy.

Staedtler describe Mars micro carbon as a smooth gliding lead with jet black lines that is highly flexible, extremely break resistant and easy to erase, for paper and drawing card. They state it suits all mechanical pencils, and the current tube has a sliding lid for refilling plus the ISO 0.5 mm colour code.

Stock a few tubes for classrooms, exam rooms and shared desks. Heavier writers may prefer the same HB grade in 0.7 mm.

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
