Pencils Sorted By Colour, Ready For The Art Room Shelf

The Staedtler 185 G288 is a Gratnells tote tray holding 288 Noris colour pencils in 12 assorted colours, plus 6 metal sharpeners.

Staedtler's photos show the tray split into compartments with the pencils grouped by colour, so students can grab the exact shade they need and a monitor can see at a glance which colour is running low. The blue tray has a clear lid in Staedtler's product photo and keeps a large quantity of pencils together and off the benches between lessons.

The colours match the twelve in the 185 C12 box, from black and van dyke brown up through the greens, blues, reds and violet to peach and light yellow. Each Noris colour 185 pencil is hexagonal with the familiar stripe, and Staedtler rate it for high break-resistance, useful when hundreds of hands are sharing the stock.

FAQs

One Gratnells tote tray with 288 Noris colour pencils in 12 colours and 6 metal sharpeners, as Staedtler describe the article.
Staedtler call it a Gratnell tray but publish no tray dimensions or depth, so check it against your unit's runners before relying on a fit.
Staedtler do not state a per-colour count, only 288 pencils across 12 colours.
Staedtler's product photo shows a clear lid on the tray, but their written description does not mention one, so we cannot confirm it is included.
The 185 C144 class pack has 144 of the same pencils and 3 sharpeners in a cardboard box.
