Sihl Rocket Photo Paper PE 250 Satin, 610mm roll

Sihl 3507 Rocket Photo Paper Satin is the heavier 250gsm member of the Rocket range, supplied on a 610mm x 30m roll for indoor posters and photo prints on aqueous large format inkjet printers.

Sihl gives 3507 a satin, micro porous coating on a base with PE film on both sides, optimised for aqueous inks so prints dry quickly. Sihl says the 250gsm weight brings particularly high opacity from a heavy base paper, and its data sheet lists opacity above 96%, a 245 micron caliper and R457 front side whiteness of 92.7%.

The heavier sheet suits prints that are handled or mounted, and its opacity figure is the highest of the three Rocket papers stocked here. Sihl recommends hot or cold lamination for long-lasting image quality and notes that unprotected dye colours deteriorate, which does not apply to pigment colours.

For lighter jobs, the 190gsm Sihl satin and gloss rolls sit alongside it. The Sihl range brings these together, photo printing papers offers other weights, snap frames suit changing displays and printing supplies covers ink.

Yes. Sihl's 3507 page lists ICC profiles for selected Canon, HP and Epson large format printers. The Sihl data sheet is attached on this page.
Sihl advises lamination, hot or cold, where prints must keep their image quality. Sihl also notes that unprotected dye colours deteriorate over time, unlike pigment colours.
