Sihl lists inkjet printing with aqueous ink and with latex ink. Sihl does not list solvent or UV curable inks for this film.

Sihl says the greyback ensures 100% opacity and lists blockout as a property of the film.

Sihl notes that only CMY or CMYK blacks contain enough binder to adhere on the satin surface, and that the black pigment of HP 5000/5500 UV+ inks does not.

Sihl highly recommends hot or cold lamination for long-lasting image quality and notes that unprotected dye colours deteriorate over time, which does not apply to pigmented colours.

Sihl's 3471 page and data sheet give no fire classification, so none is claimed here.
