Sihl Rocket Photo Paper PE 190 Satin, 914mm roll

Sihl 3372 Rocket Photo Paper Satin is a 190gsm satin finish photo paper on a 914mm x 30m roll, for indoor posters and photographs printed on large format inkjet printers with aqueous inks.

Sihl makes 3372 as a satin, micro porous coated photo paper with PE film on both sides. According to Sihl the coating is optimised for aqueous ink systems and dries quickly, and prints show high colour brilliance across a broad colour gamut. The data sheet records 190gsm, 185 micron thickness, over 95% opacity and a TAPPI whiteness of 92%.

A satin face gives a lower sheen than the glossy 3371 paper, a point to consider for framed or brightly lit photo prints. Sihl recommends lamination for long-lasting image quality and points out that unprotected dye inks deteriorate with time, while pigment inks are not affected the same way.

The heavier 250gsm Sihl 3507 satin roll sits beside it for weightier prints. The Sihl range gathers all Sihl media, photo printing papers adds other finishes, poster frames hold finished work and printing supplies covers ink.

FAQs

Both are Sihl Rocket PE 190 papers with the same 190gsm weight and aqueous coating. 3372 has a satin surface, while 3371 has a glossy surface.
Sihl lists inkjet with aqueous ink for 3372. It does not list solvent, latex or UV curable inks.
Sihl's 3372 page and data sheet do not mention Memjet, so we do not claim Memjet compatibility.
