Sharpie Creative Marker Brush Tip Assorted Colours Pack of 5 Box of 6

You get one box containing 6 retail blister packs, and each pack holds 5 brush-tip markers, so 30 markers in total. Each pack is a sealed retail card, so sets can be handed out individually.

Sharpie sells this as an assorted pack and does not publish the colour names. Its pack photo shows red, yellow, green, blue and purple brush markers, and all 6 packs in the box are the same item.

No. The ink is water-based acrylic, and Sharpie Consumer Care describes Creative Markers as semi-permanent: long-lasting on porous surfaces such as paper or cardboard, but possibly less durable on slick or nonporous surfaces. Where a mark has to be permanent, choose a permanent marker instead.

No. Sharpie's copy for this pack says no priming is required: simply uncap and go. For best results, Sharpie advises storing the markers horizontally.

Sharpie lists paper, metal, wood, ceramic, glass, rock and canvas, and says colours pop on light and dark surfaces. Plastic and fabric are not on the manufacturer's list, so we cannot confirm them. Consumer Care adds that marks may not be as durable on slick or nonporous surfaces, so test a small area on glass or glazed ceramic first.

Sharpie does not publish a brush size or line width for this marker. It describes the brush tip as giving fine control in drawing, and the pack photo shows the tip shape.

Sharpie Consumer Care advises snapping the cap fully on after each use and storing the markers horizontally so the ink distributes evenly. It also notes that acrylic paint markers are more prone to drying out than regular markers when left exposed to air. The nib is not designed to be removed or cleaned, and taking it out can damage the ink system.

Sharpie's product record gives a suggested age of adult, and no formal age grading or safety certification is published in the sources we checked. Early learning and childcare buyers should check the markers against their own safety requirements.
