Metallic Blue gel pen in a bright ocean shimmer

Metallic Blue writes a bright, sparkling sky blue that stands out on black paper and adds a cool sheen to cards and journals.

Sakura code XPGB-M#536 is the mid blue of the Gelly Roll Metallic series. A vivid light blue line appears over both white and black card in our writing sample, and the swatch shows a stronger cobalt blue on white. Sakura describes the ink as pigment-based with a reflective sheen and lists coated paper, photographs and vellum among the surfaces it writes on.

Blue shimmer suits snowflakes, waves, starry skies and winter themed cards, and it is clear enough for short messages on dark envelopes. Sakura gives a 0.4 mm line for the range and calls the ink waterproof and resistant to fading on paper.

Find Metallic Blue Black and other shades in our gel pens collection. Winter card makers can pick up dark stock from art paper and canvas, pencils from drawing supplies and embellishments from art and craft supplies.
