Metallic Black gel ink with a graphite sheen

Metallic Black writes a shimmering dark grey black, giving lettering and outlines a subtle graphite gleam.

Code XPGB-M#549 rounds out Sakura's Gelly Roll Metallic series. On white paper our swatch shows a near black line with a silvery highlight, and over black card the sample line becomes a mid grey sheen. Sakura calls this pigment-based ink reflective and states that it performs on light and dark papers alike.

Use it where flat black looks too heavy: shading in drawings, gothic lettering, monochrome cards and silvery accents on black. Sakura gives a 0.4 mm line and states the ink is waterproof and does not smear once dry, so layered work stays clean.

Pair it with Gold and Silver from our gel pens collection. Our drawing supplies range covers pencils for shading, art paper and canvas holds black stock, and art and craft supplies has monochrome card making materials.
