Metallic Green gel ink in a teal shimmer

Metallic Green writes a cool teal green with a reflective finish, at home in ocean scenes, peacock feathers and dark paper journals.

Sakura code XPGB-M#529 shows a teal cap and a matching teal line in both our writing sample and swatch photos, consistent with Metallic Green on the brand's chart. Like the rest of the Gelly Roll Metallic series it is a capped pen with a frosted barrel. Sakura describes the ink as pigment-based with a distinctive sheen that shows on light and dark papers.

Teal metallic ink is useful for water, scales and decorative borders where a flat green looks dull. Sakura says the ink does not smear once dry and is fade resistant, and its site quotes a 1.0 mm ball for a 0.4 mm line.

Pair it with Metallic Blue and Emerald from our gel pens range. Browse art paper and canvas for black stock, visual art diaries for journals, and art and craft supplies for ocean themed craft projects.
