No. The Rhino 5200 accepts Rhino industrial cassettes up to 19mm wide only, so a 24mm cassette will not load into it. This tape fits the Dymo Rhino 6000 and the Rhino 6000 Plus, which accept 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 19mm and 24mm. The Rhino 5000 and Rhino 4200 are also 19mm machines and will not take it either.

The cassette prints your text in the white section of the tape. The rest of the tape is clear. When you wrap the label around a cable, the clear portion passes over the printed text and seals it under a layer of laminate, so the print is protected from abrasion, moisture and solvents without a separate laminating step.

The roll holds 5.5 metres of tape. How many labels that makes depends on the length you set for each one, so short cable identifiers go a lot further than long multi-line panel labels.

Both are 24mm and both need a Rhino 6000 or 6000 Plus. Self-laminating is the choice when you want the printed text sealed under clear laminate on a cable. Flexible nylon is the choice when you need the label to conform tightly to a curved or textured surface and stay put.

We stock three: this self-laminating tape, the flexible nylon 24mm x 3.5m and the permanent polyester 24mm x 5.5m. All three require a Rhino 6000 or Rhino 6000 Plus. Every other Rhino tape width we carry, from 6mm to 19mm, also runs in the Rhino 5200, 5000 and 4200.
