Print a heat shrink cable marker for 2mm to 5.2mm cables with the Rhino 4200, 5200 or 6000

This Dymo Rhino 18053 cassette holds 1.5 metres of 9mm heat shrink tube that prints black on white, slides over the cable and shrinks tight around it.

Heat shrink tube is the cable marker electricians and data installers use when a wrap label is not good enough, because once shrunk it stays on the cable with no adhesive to lift. The 9mm tube on this cassette fits cables from 2.0mm to 5.2mm in diameter, prints black on white in a Rhino 4200, 5200 or 6000, and carries the UL 224 mark for insulating tubing.

Dymo makes the tube from industrial grade polyolefin with a 3 to 1 shrink ratio, so it pulls down tight around the conductor, and the cassette prints a 600 V and 125 C rating. Dymo also lists the military and SAE specifications it meets and states it is RoHS compliant.

The same tube comes in 6mm, 12mm and 19mm widths and in black on yellow in the Dymo Rhino label range. The Dymo Rhino range has the 4200 and 5200 label makers, and the Dymo label range covers office labels.

The cassette prints a range of 2.0mm to 5.2mm cable diameter. For thinner cable use the 6mm tube, code 18051, and for thicker cable the 12mm, code 18055, or 19mm, code 18057.
The Dymo Rhino 4200, 5200 and 6000. It does not fit LabelManager, LetraTag or LabelWriter machines.
Print the marker, cut it, slide the tube over the cable before you terminate it, then shrink it with a heat gun. Once shrunk it grips the cable and there is no adhesive to lift.
Dymo's Australian catalogue rates its heat shrink tube from minus 19 C to plus 135 C. The cassette itself prints a 125 C rating at 600 V, so treat 125 C as the working ceiling.
It is UL recognised rather than UL listed. The cassette carries the UL recognised component mark to UL 224, the standard for insulating tubing. Dymo also states it meets MIL-M-81531, MIL-STD-22G and SAE-DTL-2353/5 and is RoHS compliant.
