Industrial labelling built for site work, supplied ready to go in a hard case

The Dymo Rhino 5200 Hard Case Kit is the industrial label maker for electricians, data cablers, instrumentation technicians and facilities teams who need durable identification that survives the job site.

The Rhino 5200 prints on Dymo Rhino industrial tape from 6mm to 19mm wide, in vinyl, flexible nylon, permanent polyester and heat shrink tube. One touch hot keys automatically size, space and format labels for wire and cable wraps, terminal blocks, electrical and patch panels, 110 blocks, and vertical and fixed length runs, so a repeated label takes seconds rather than a fresh manual setup each time. The two line backlit display stays readable in poorly lit switch rooms and ceiling spaces, and the ABC keyboard suits occasional users who do not label every day.

Up to 100 label formats can be stored on the machine and recalled on site, which saves rebuilding the same layout across a large installation. The kit arrives in a moulded hard carry case with a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack, an AC adaptor and two starter tape cassettes. The machine also accepts 6 AA batteries when a charged pack is not to hand. Labels meet key ANSI and TIA/EIA-606-A identification standards, which matters on tendered data and electrical work.

The 5200 is brand locked to Dymo Rhino industrial tape, so stock the widths you actually use: 19mm Rhino vinyl label tape for general asset and panel marking, 19mm flexible nylon cable wrap tape for curved cable and rough surfaces, 12mm heat shrink tube tape for wire ends, and 12mm permanent polyester tape for flat plates and equipment. See the full machine range in Dymo Rhino label makers.

FAQs

Dymo Rhino industrial tape only, in 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 19mm widths. It does not accept Dymo D1 tape from LabelManager machines, and it does not accept 24mm Rhino tape, which needs a Rhino 6000. Generic and other-brand cassettes will not fit the tape bay.
The label maker, a moulded hard carry case, a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack, an AC adaptor and two starter tape cassettes, along with the quick reference guide. The machine will also run on 6 AA batteries if a charged pack is not to hand.
No. The Rhino 5200 is a standalone handheld and every label is built on the keypad. It stores up to 100 label formats on the machine so repeated layouts can be recalled on site. Where PC label design is a requirement, that sits with the Rhino 6000 rather than the 5200.
Yes. Dymo Rhino heat shrink tube tape fits the 5200 in 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 19mm, in black on white and black on yellow. Heat shrink is the usual choice for wire and conductor ends where an adhesive label would not stay put.
Dymo states that the Rhino 5200 meets key ANSI and TIA/EIA-606-A labelling standards. One touch hot keys pre-format labels for wire and cable wraps, terminal blocks, electrical and patch panels, 110 blocks, and vertical and fixed length runs, which keeps identification consistent across a tendered job.
