Rexel Torador Full Strip Stapler Black

It describes the length of staple strip the magazine accepts. A full strip stapler takes a complete strip, so the strip does not have to be snapped in half before it goes in. It does not change the staple size, and Rexel publish the same magazine load for the Torador as for the half strip Matador.

Rexel No. 56 (26/6) or Rexel No. 16 (24/6) staples, the same sizes as the half strip Rexel staplers take. Loaded capacity is 105 staples in the No. 56 size and 84 in the No. 16 size.

Rexel rate it at up to 25 sheets of 80gsm paper. Heavier stock counts for more than one sheet of 80gsm, so the working limit is lower on card.

The paper insertion depth is 73mm, so a staple can sit well inside an A4 sheet rather than only at the corner. That matters on wide reports and on anything that will be trimmed or hole punched near the edge.

Both models load 105 staples in the No. 56 size, or 84 in the No. 16 size. What differs is the strip: the Torador takes a full length strip into the magazine, so a strip does not need breaking before it goes in.

Rexel publish a five year guarantee on the Torador when Rexel staples are used. Keeping a box of Rexel No. 56 or No. 16 staples on the shelf therefore protects the cover as well as the stapling.
