A Deep Non-Stick Frypan With Room for One-Pan Meals

The Resto Carina 26cm deep frypan is recycled forged aluminium with a marble-effect non-stick interior and 7.1 cm high sides, giving more room than a standard frypan for sauces and one-pan meals.

Carina deep frypans are the taller version of Resto's Carina frypan, 7.1 cm high against 4.2 cm to 5.3 cm for the standard frypans. They share the recycled forged aluminium body, the marble-effect non-stick coating and the brown heat-resistant exterior, which Resto says protects the surface from carbon deposits. The base is an induction bottom reinforced with an anti-deformation disk, and this 26cm pan is the second largest of four sizes.

It works on induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs, so it suits a staff kitchen cooktop of any type. Resto lists its weight as 0.72 kg. The ergonomic soft-touch handle has a wood-effect finish and a hanging loop, so the pan can hang on a hook or rail between uses.

Yes. Resto says Carina suits all types of cookers including induction, and lists induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs. The base is an induction bottom reinforced with an anti-deformation disk.
No. Resto's Carina leaflet shows a no-oven symbol and the product page does not list oven use, so keep this pan on the hob.
Resto shows a dishwasher symbol for Carina, but its care guides recommend hand washing to extend the life of the non-stick coating and warn that an aluminium base can discolour in a dishwasher, which should be kept to 50°C or below. We recommend hand washing in warm soapy water.
Resto does not publish utensil guidance for Carina in the information we hold. Wooden, silicone or nylon utensils are the safe choice on any non-stick coating and avoid scratching the surface.
No. Resto sells the Carina deep frypans without a lid. The pan comes on its own in a paper sleeve.
It has taller sides. Carina deep frypans come in 20cm, 24cm, 26cm and 28cm, from 6.4 cm to 7.7 cm high, while the standard frypans run from 4.2 cm to 5.3 cm. Resto titles the deep frypans simply "Frypan" on its website and "Deep frypan" in its catalogue. This one is the 26cm.
