An Open 1100 mm Case You Fit Out Yourself

The Panaro MAX1100 is a long, slim watertight case supplied empty, giving you an 1100 x 370 x 140 mm interior to line with your own foam, panels or fittings.

That length suits long, flat equipment: survey staffs and tripods, antenna masts, light stands, fishing rods, rails and test rigs. The lid is 45 mm deep and the base 95 mm, for 56.98 litres in total, and the case weighs 7.80 kg before anything goes in. Panaro's photos show wheels at one end so it can be tipped up and rolled.

Panaro mould the shell from polypropylene by injection, seal it on a polymer O-ring under a run of nylon two-stage latches, and fit an automatic pressure release valve. There are holes for double padlocking and a shoulder strap, extra fixing points, space for screen printing and a resin label on the lid, and the cases stack and interlock.

Of the long MAX cases, this one carries the widest set of published reports: an IP67 certificate, the STANAG 4280 report that also covers DEF STAN 81-41, a MIL-STD-810H certificate, and an ATA 300 Cat. 1 transport test for air freight.

For other shapes see our protective case range, the full Panaro list or tactical equipment cases.
