Plywood blocks for Japanese woodblock printing
Zart Japanese Woodblock printing blocks, supplier code LTZ401, are 4mm plywood blocks from The Creative School Supply Company, each 15 x 22cm and sold as a pack of 5.
The Creative School Supply Company presents this pack of wooden printing blocks for the traditional art of Japanese woodblock printing. It says each block measures 15 x 22cm and is made from 4mm plywood, and describes the blocks as ideal for carving intricate designs. The supplier lists the product under printing plates and screens, alongside its lino range.
A 15 x 22cm face gives room for a full composition on each block. With five blocks, a student can carve a design, try a second version, or keep one block per colour. The supplier describes the blocks as ideal for carving intricate designs.
Store the blocks flat and dry between lessons so they are ready for the next carving session. Zart carving tools and brayers suit these blocks. Browse wooden craft supplies, craft painting rollers, educational craft supplies and Zart.
