A Lever Operated Pro Binder With Margin Control

The GBC CombBind CB25 Pro is a manual comb binding machine with a long overhead punch lever and a three position margin selector, made for 21 loop plastic combs.

A full width lever gives plenty of leverage, which is why a hand operated machine can still keep up with a busy office. ACCO rate the Pro for heavy use, and it needs no power point, so it can live in a meeting room or be carried to wherever the documents are being assembled.

The side selector moves the hole line to 2.5mm, 4.5mm or 6.5mm from the edge. A paper guide with numbered hole positions helps line up short or odd sized sheets, a chart on the base lists how many sheets each comb holds, and a drawer catches the punched waste. ACCO list a 2 year warranty.

Combs are in plastic binding combs, and front covers in clear binding covers. Other models are under comb binding machines.

FAQs

No. ACCO photos show a hand lever and no cable, and ACCO list the operation as manual. One line of their feature text mentions an electric punch; that belongs to the CB25E Pro, not this machine.
The label on the base reads 25 sheets of paper or 4 PVC covers, and ACCO feature text agrees, but the ACCO spec table says 20. Start at 20 and work up with your own stock.
ACCO give two figures, 500 sheets on a 51mm comb in the feature text and 450 sheets in the spec table. Until that is settled we have not published either as the rating.
The chart printed on the base gives 145 sheets of 80 gram paper for 16mm, and 70 sheets for 10mm.
A shallow margin suits thin documents on small combs, and a deeper one gives thick documents room to turn. The selector offers 2.5mm, 4.5mm and 6.5mm.

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
